Rafe Banks is a partner in the Cumming, GA law firm of Banks & Stubbs, LLP and a member of the Georgia Bar for over 30 years; Rafe Banks is a graduate of Emory College and Em­ory University Law School. A former prosecutor, he was an assistant District Attorney in the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit for three years and District Attorney of that circuit for another 8 years.

 

Since 1989, he has been in private practice in Cumming, GA where his practice is almost exclusively criminal defense. A large part of that practice consists of DUI defense. Admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Ap­peals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court he also has an active appellate practice.
